23rd May 2004 Kite buggying - boarding: borth golf car park Wind Direction: nw/w Wind Stength: light Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: warmish Weather: sunshine Max Speed: Distance Covered: shame about the lack of wind but did try to get out at one piont on Cols bic car toper, well it felt like that any way;got up and going at one piont only to be flung off when the fins, which were more like dagger boards, cought the sand. well loads of landboarders having a good time so i joined them with my new board and 12 frenzy. tool at least half an hour before i managed to go in the direction i intended ,but after that the world was my oyster,or it was as far as the estuary! great day on the beach despite the lack of a good wind but what the heck i could have been at home!!! oh Graham got a good tan on one knee after falling asleep in my car,he is getting old now and needs his afternoon nap! |
